Business challenge

How to go from a 15 people french start up to a successful Series A round operating in UK, Germany & Spain? They were an only web and mobile app that improves well-being of occupants in their workplace and living space in, in the  Crossroad of PropTech and HR tech, a solution promotes better flow of information, creation of community and centralise all services. Company needed to build credibility that they are able to improve quality of life in cities (outside of France) in a context of rapid transformation with the rise of flexible spaces. They came to us needing to prepare for their Series A and with a clear need being open in a new market within 3 months. 

Approach

  • Exploration & Identification: Market research, including SWOT analysis of Spanish market and interviews with key stakeholders,  finding key clients in local market, low hanging fruits, pricing strategy, onboarding of product, first commercialization strategy and  support in translation and market adaptation.
  • Structure and put into action: analysis of team size and budgets to be functional, identifications of potential re sellers, PR agency to assist the launch, kick off of commercial strategy with securing at least one major client.
  • Consolidation and put into perspective: Conclusions, Roadmap, first  Team members hired and strategic objectives set. 

Conclusion

Successfully transitioning a French startup to a Series A round across multiple countries posed challenges. We conducted market research, identified key clients, facilitated market entry, and provided strategic guidance for expansion.
